CHILDREN FAQS

Our mission team take no salary and pays.  Administrative expenses include stationary, ink, stamps and computer-related costs, food are less than 2% of total contributions. We work hard to make sure that donated amount go to help to the neediest children of Nepal.

We are always concerned about empowering local communities’ leaders and using local resources to cover the mission expenses. It is never our goal to create a state of dependency.
We are especially interested in strengthening our work in community development to give villagers the knowledge and tools to be successful in their villages in order to be able to take care their criical children’s needs.

Our current priority is to seek support to the children who have been missing to go to school for two years. We need school uniforms, books, stationary and new shoes for 5 years to 16 grades III to X.

Same curriculum as any other Nepalese children are getting.  HIMET’s focus is not about amending, correcting or improving Nepal’s curriculum.
